HOPE on
I have a finished product that is going out to Alpha readers this week. It’s not 50,000 words, but I’m not sure it was ever meant to be.
In the meantime, here’s what you can expect from me in December 2021:
Last year’s Advent series ended up being some of the best work I did all year.
With that in mind, I’m going to explore the pillars of Advent again this year, but with a more narrow focus.
Last year, I mentioned HOPE can be hard to come by for some of us this time of year.
We must remember.
The holidays are not a happy, joyful, or celebratory time for everyone. For some, this is a time of grief, strife, and strain.
Please remember: In this season of light someone is sitting in the darkness.
The best way you can help is to offer HOPE: be there without hovering, offer help without solutions, and emphasize the good without diminishing the present bad. It’s a tall order, I know, but it takes a tough person to sit out their own internal battles, remember that.
